Cape Kidnappers is a headland at the southeastern extremity of Hawke's Bay on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island and sits at the end of a 5 mile peninsula which protrudes into the Pacific Ocean. It was named after an attempt by local Māori to abduct a member of Captain Cook's crew aboard HMS Endeavour, during a landfall there on 15 October 1769. [Source: Wikipedia]
It's as if drones were made for places like Cape Kidnappers Golf Course. The grandeur of golf and scenery all in one does not get much better than this, and a drone is the best way to take it all in. Stunning ocean views, breathtaking sandstone cliffs and magnificent rolling terrain are just some of the features that make this one of the most epic golf experiences in the world.
We took this drone footage for our friends at Golf Away Tours and their golfing clients - and the result could not have been more perfect!
