Plenty of Sunshine to Go a Round
We previously had the privilege of shooting Old Head Golf Links for Iron Lady Golf in September of 2017. This October, while we had full confidence in Keith (same photographer as last time), the weather was looking to be very dicey, and we admit to having some trepidation in sending him out there. As it turned out, both the weather and golf gods smiled on us, and there was plenty of sunshine to go around.
It's always tougher to shoot in bad weather, but these good weather photos gave the set a unique feel compared to the other shoots we've done there. Classic links courses play differently every day, and retain their interest over the centuries due in large part to the ever-changing weather conditions. The samples included here bear this out, and the overall strength of the entire set ensured an Epic finish to an Epic trip!
As if it could get any better, to cap off this spectacular day, they celebrated with a post-round dinner together. Cheers!
